Changing a ticket
So I had to change my flight date from the 24/09 to the 05/10. On calling the call center I was told that I can not cancel my flight and get a refund but can change my flight date. This would mean I would pay charges for changing the flight which amounted to about R600-00. But in this I also had to pay another 600-00 for the new flight which they say is more expensive, but on checking online the new flight is 400-00 cheaper. All the explains still does not make sense as to why you would charge more on cheaper tickets.<br>

As you were told that you cannot cancel your flight but can change the flight date, it all depends on the class/type of ticket you are holding. The agent who assisted you would have done a fare calculation based on the difference between your original fare and the new fare.
A suggestion for future travel is to enquire about our flexi fares, which are only available through the kulula.com Contact Centre or through your travel agent.
