Cancelled and Forfeited flight booking

Bad service from Kulula airline, they cancelled and forfeited booking as I missed a departure flight due to unforeseen circumstances, then my return flight booking was cancelled and forfeited. It was very sad when I found myself stranded at the airport, I had to make and pay for a new booking to get back home. I can be at peace if I can get explanation on this matter.
