Bicycle not accepted for the Argus

I booked my flight with Kulula over a month ago to fly to Cape Town today for the Cape Argus. I paid for my bicycle as per their sports equipment policy at R 245 because it was paid for in advance. When I arrived at the airport Kulula refused to accept my bicycle. They stated they were not accepting bikes for the argus and they had a separate group of people taking bikes. I was told that I should have paid R300 I was forced to pay the full R300 as I was not allowed to pay the difference. They told us that there was a notice on their website that they admitted only went on last week. I was also told that they can't guarantee my bike will be on the flight it might take 4 days by then I would have missed the argus.<br> This is my first time time flying with kulula and I will never fly with them again. My husband was trying to speak to the customer service supervisor at kulula offices who couldn't care and hung up on us.
