Bad service - Delayed Flight

We booked our 17 year old son his first flight on his own to Johannesburg this weekend for his cousins 21st. He was very excited, but also a little nervous, flying on his own for the first time.

The flight (MN108) on Thursday evening went well, and he arrived there on time.

But, when he returned last night (MN137) the flight was delayed by 2 hours and 15 minutes. They sat waiting at OR Tambo for 2 hours and 15 minutes without anyone even informing them as to why there was a delay. They landed at 11:46, a flight that was scheduled to land at 21:55. This is rediculous, a delay of 15 minutes or even a half an hour is still okay, but 2 hours and 15 minutes, without even being given a valid reason. We all need to be at work and school today, after getting home at what hour last night.

Needless to say, his first experience of flying on his own was not a good one.
