Bad Kulula flight experience today.
My wife Vera and I have just flown with Kulula from Cape Town to Johannesburg and had a very unpleasant trip and experience. Here is a copy of the e mail that Vera has just sent to Kulula on our behalf.
My telecom of a short while ago with Lakin Beerwinkle refers. My husband Trevor and I had the unfortunate experience of travelling with Kulula today 21 May 2019. Our booking Reference Number-PWLJVG. We flew on flight MN124 from Cape Town to Johannesburg departing at 11.55 am. We do this trip often using Kulula, as we are Discovery Diamond card holders. Today was at least the 3rd or 4th time that we were bumped off our prepaid seats 17C and 17D, as a result of a so-called aircraft change. We were put into seats 10 B and 10 C, which is not an exit row and which we had paid for, The person checking us in **** , telling us that they were DEFINITELY an exit row seas,t so you can imagine my horror when I got on the plane to discover that we were: A- not in an exit row and B- not on 2 aisles as we always book and C- squashed into a middle row seat in Row 10, where even the backrests did not recline, Included in this fiasco was the fact that the seat in row 9 in front of us was broken and could not stay up even when requested by the staff to do so . Added to this your flight staff were rude and unhelpful, always having the excuse that the ground staff are responsible. The lady in question on the flight was Lady Boiketto I wish to add that there were in fact 3 empty exit row seats on the plane in rows 11 and 12 and a few of the people that I asked that were seated in the exit rows, had not even paid for their exit row seats, which I find odd. The lady sitting next to me in seat 10 A also informed me that she had paid for the seat in row 1 and was treated similarly to us. I await your urgent response Vera Weiner
