Appalling seat area & insufficient announcements

On every flight that I have ever had on Kulula (Jhb - Cape Town return flights, one from Lanseria and one from ORTIA, two from Cape Town Int), the tray table and seat surroundings such as the the window and seat and seat pocket in front of me was simply disgustingly dirty. The one flight (ORTIA to CTIA) was just about acceptable but the other 3 were simply unacceptable. I found food residue on the seats and tray tables and in the seat pockets I have found used tissues and *******. This is simply appalling.<br> <br> Furthermore, I am used to hearing the announcer say that before you switch off your mobile devices for take off that you first switch it to safe/ flight mode... not on one flight on Kulula I heard it. Also, concerning the onboard sales of food/ drinks, not everyone is aware that only cash is accepted due to no announcement (on speakers or by the attendant offering the goods before serving them). The attendant already poured the drink of the couple in front of me before they realized that no cards or US dollars are accepted. They were placed in a very difficult situation. Luckily I had enough cash to cover for them. But not every passenger might be so lucky.
