Appalling and attrocious service of in-flight staff member, Nazeem
Today I travelled from Cape Town to Lanseria on flight MN458, departing at 11:20. Planning my day I thought I would buy a sandwich in flight as a 2 hour flight would fall over lunch being in air. I was seated in row 8C. At around 12:00 in air the Kulula employee, Nazeem informed me that I have a choice of nuts and chips as all the sandwiches and ****ins were sold out. I really thought he was joking and asked"Are you joking" as clearly flying at 12:00 in row 8 surely not everything could not be sold out? His answer was an abrupt, " No I am not joking, this is our third leg we are flying today" to which I responded " surely that is not my problem". Nazeem looked at me and said: "Not my problem either, I don't load the aeroplane, nuts or chips?" Wow, not only do you pay R1300 one way but you can't even buy a sandwich over LUNCH time. Interesting enough the Kulula staff came walking down the passage 30 minutes later with their lunch warmed up and ready to eat! Seems they do check the loading of the staff meals? I fly with Kulula due to Vitality, I will however make sure that Discovery is also aware of the service their customers receive as I am clearly null en void to Kulula
I have copy and pasted the above from all my social media accounts. Nazeem was arrogant, spoke to me in a belittling way as if a woman should keep quiet and takes what she gets! I am appalled by the service. Furthermore I am definitely his senior being 49 years of age. Please train your male staff to treat woman with respect.
