Amendment to flight cost 50% of original cost
In September last year, I booked for my family and I to fly to Durban for Comrades. I have recently had a health scare and can't run Comrades. I phoned Kulula to cancel the flights. I was informed that I can't cancel but can change the flights for 6 months in the future anytime before the flight date of 30th May. My flights cost approx. R8000. I phoned today and changed my fflights to Oct-Same route and from a peak ( Comrades weekend ) to a non peak -same passengers. I was told that I would have to pay R900 per passenger! That is R3600-45% of the original cost! Now, what do I do -I lose R8000 if I don't change by 30th May and have to pay an addition R3600 if I do -****************

All our fares are subject to availability at the time of booking and not all fares are the same. In the event of changes, customers will be charged our standard admin fee as well as a possible upgrade fee if the same fare is not available.
The change fees vary as it depends on the specific fare booked. If that same fare is not available, the ticket will need to be upgraded to the next available fare, as is the case for your booking. Please could you call the Contact Centre before the 30May to change your flights and not forfeit the booking.
