Beware - Kulani Pools - ***********

Be very weary of Kulani Pools, or the owner Emmanuel Chauke, who stated he was a Zimbabwean pool builder.

He had a Facebook page, listed pools and roofing jobs he supposedly did. I communicated on WhatsApp, he has a business profile with many references of jobs completed. He sent a quote and job/works order.

He is a con artist, who seems knowledgeable and attentive, giving you a fair price… initially arrived on time, did minimal work and then asked for his fee for materials. He seemed legit, took 40% upfront, and asked for 40% to organize the materials for the completion (pool motor/pump/filter/marbalite/tiles)

Then had the cheek to contact me after a few days saying “had car troubles” and could I assist him to pay the mechanic for the repairs. Said that, the delivery from the pool supplies can Only happen to him when he is at my home.

He said that because he spent all my money on materials (that were yet to arrive), he couldn’t repair the car. When I asked for the invoice number and contact info for the pool suppliers to ask about the delivery - he stopped contact.

Stole R40 000 - doesn’t answer calls or respond.

Please please beware!!!! You have been warned.
