Taken for a Ride
The very nature of what I am about to say requires no emotional input. Merely stating the facts is enough to disgust the reader of this post.
Regarding my dealership - Factory Racing KTM - communication is desperately poor. On many occasions I have not been contacted as promised. Additionally, I have received shocking attitude from the service manager.
My DUKE 390 was serviced on the 30th of August 2017. Just over a week later, my bike engine CRACKED while pulling off at a robot. I transported my bike to Factory Racing on the 16th of September. After weeks of failed communication and sloppiness, I received my bike back on the 3rd of November!
Furthermore, I received my bike back with a cracked air box (under the knowledge of Factory Racing). However, this was replaced shortly after I complained.
The incompetence does not end there, though... My bike was given back to me with NO ENGINE NUMBER on the engine casings. Factory Racing has treated the issue with little delicacy; and, I am waiting for KTM to provide me with a satisfactory solution to the obvious problem.
I cannot have any confidence in the brand KTM, especially in the service received from Factory Racing.
