Krups frother - the customer is the enemy

I bought a Krups milk frother (R1750) through Yuppiechef. The reviews on this product were good and we spent more than planned to buy it. The product worked well but that was not the true failure. It broke 1 week before the 1 year warranty expired. When I returned it, they rejected the replacement because they claimed the warranty was invalid because (wait for it...) I had put on a plug! A South African plug that was on it from day 1 and yet it was given as a reason to invalidate the warranty nearly a year later. You dodged your customer well Krups, but I will never buy a product from you again.
