We entered into a clear agreement: three payments, with the final payment to be made upon completion of the work. However, after receiving the second payment, Jacques and Petrus Kruger abruptly halted all progress on the project. Their excuse? They had run out of money and suggested we advance further funds to continue the building project. At this point, they weren’t even halfway done with the work!

We stood firm and reminded them of our agreement, urging them to come up with a solution and complete what they had promised. They could not come up with a solution and we had to terminate the contract. Their attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, showing no regard for contractual obligations or customer trust.

Adding insult to injury, they claimed to be registered with the NHBRC (National Home Builders Registration Council) during negotiations. This was a major factor in our decision to hire them. However, when we tried to lodge a complaint with the NHBRC, we discovered they were never registered. This deceit is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of integrity.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, steer clear of Kruger Maintenance and Construction (Pty) Ltd. They are unreliable, dishonest, and *************. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a contractor who actually honors their commitments.
