AVOID! ********** MONEY *******!

On 15 November 2017, I made a reservation for a chalet and immediately paid a large deposit. However, due to noticing all the complaints (no compliments) only thereafter, I contacted them and cancelled 15 minutes later after reserving and paying the deposit. When I asked when I could receive my deposit back, I was told it was highly unlikely and if I was very fortunate to indeed receive a refund, it would only be after many months. I have contacted Alfred P. ********** on various occasions, but have received no response. I am yet to see any cancellation or refund policies or even a receipt of my money. Another excuse I received from the "resort" was that the offices were closed over December. December, peak season? Do they dare further insult me by insinuating I am a fool? I have advised them of my intent to summons, and no surprise, Mr Alfred sent a read receipt only. Not bothered at all. Ps.: When we saw the place in December, passing by, the reviews are true - It is a filthy, overgrown, neglected excuse of a once beautiful establishment.
