Almost Perfect

We decided on trying Kream at Mall of Africa but i had already been to the one in Brooklyn so was looking forward to an awesome weekday evening.

Called the morning but got the line that operators were busy. So i went online and it was a booking request but you could only choose hourly intervals. We were planning on dinner at 5.30 but would wait at bar until our reservation for 6pm

Entry and Covid protocols was quick as one had a reservation that was checked. There were lots of table options and we didn't have to wait which was great.

Once seated there was some confusion as we had 2 different menu's. So a old menu with different dishes was still around. That was quickly cleared up.and the special sounded great so i tried one.

There was again confusion in their attempt for excellent service. The waitress brought over some butter for the bread but we didn't want the beef patte. She obliged by changing it but then someone else wanted to change this cause it was not the right combination and we had to stop him. Little miscommunication between staff.

I ordered a special and my partner from the main course. The food was brilliant as usual. Service throughout was good except when we wanted the bill which was the only time there was no service available the entire time.

By now it was dark and the candlelight was the only lighting available if one sits outside so checking the bill was bit difficult in the romantic setting. Bill was great except for line where one place a tip which there was a lot of space but the final cost had almost none available at bottom of slip.

So except for a few minir things i would say 4 and half stars as the minor infractions were overisght or in the pursuit of service. The others can be easily addressed cause the food was definitely something to remember.
