Terrible after sales service:(

Wish I could give negative stars. Karcher products are fine to buy but don't ever have it break. Karcher SA will quote you more than you paid for it for a repair. I bought a steamer at Takealot that I use about 3 times a year for R1800. After about 4 years it stopped heating up. Karcher quoted me R2,033.03 to repair (more than a brand new upgraded one). When I pointed that out they responded with "The parts are imported from Germany, but we can quote you on a new one". They say the reason why the machine broke is because I didn't receive the necessary training on how to use it. So, if you plan to buy a Karcher machine, go for training! If it breaks, throw it away. When I sent them an email to complain, their marketing communications manager said that Dean, the dealer manager would contact me regarding my concerns- that was 5 weeks ago. They are clearly not interested.
