Poor back up Karcher
I was advised by Karcher in Boxberg that they do not suppy brushes for the WD 4 vacuum cleaner and I must buy a knew vacuum or motor they are the same price. The brushes on the motor are wearing parts and should be in stock. It's like disposing of you car because the battery is flat.

Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately, Kärcher does not sell carbon brushes because most of the time the commutator is badly burnt and this will only cause the brushes to wear even quicker.
Depending on the condition of the commutator, it can be that the carbon brushes get installed and they start to arc immediately after installing them.
There is a company called Tecsa and they do supply carbon brushes as loose items.
We would either supply a new motor or new vacuum as advised.
