Karcher Service is horrible to say the least

I bought a Karcher K4 pressure cleaner from Makro Polokwane with a 24 month warranty on 06/04/2022. On the 22/09/2023 I took the pressure for repairs at Makro since it was not giving out pressure as expected. Whilst I was still at Makro the person who assisted me enquired from Karcher about the warranty, which Karcher confirmed that the unit was still under warranty. I went back to Makro on the 16/10/2023 to enquire about the unit and was given a quote of R1918,20 with ref CAS-***-J4Z0 dated 09/10/2023. The e-mail sent to a Makro representative further indicated that the warranty for the unit expired on 05/04/2023. I phoned Karcher to enquire about the quote they send Makro and the validity of the warranty since I have proof that the unit has a 24 month warranty. The Karcher representative refused to communicate further with me and said I should refer all my enquiries to Makro. I talked to Makro's reprentative about the issue, the representative sent email to Karcher about the situation. Karcher responded by saying the warranty was void because the machine is misused and that the pump was damaged because of user error. The company did not clarify the issue of misuse and of a pump that was damaged by error, and why are they changing from their original statement of expired warranty due to date. I requested that the issue be escalated to the senior management at Makro Polokwane but no response to this date. I made calls to Makro and no one is there to answer my calls. I'm also tired of making trips to Makro without any success. I believe that I'm getting a raw deal from Karcher and that Makro is failing to protect me as their customer. I will never buy a Karcher product in my entire life and will never recommend the product to anyone else. Had I seen these reviews before I wouldn't have taken such a risk and advice others not to.
