**** Proof Of Payment And ******* Occupation Of My Mother’s Home

I am posting this review on behalf of my 68-year-old widowed mother, Julia Dimakatso Mavimbela, regarding our experience with Kratos Retail Group PTY LTD(***), its CEO Grant De Klerk, and Pamela Cookson. Grant De Klerk signed a residential lease agreement under Kratos Retail Group PTY LTD and occupied my mother’s property together with Pamela Cookson at 7 Mt Lindsley Street, Midlands Estate, Midstream. The agreed monthly rental was R35 000.00. Since March 2026, rental payments stopped almost entirely, with only R12 000.00 being paid while they continued occupying the property. Throughout this period, we were continuously misled with promises of payment and were even provided with *****ulent proof of payments from Discovery Bank. Upon investigation with the bank, it was confirmed that these payments did not exist. The tenants agreed to an exit inspection and confirmed that they would vacate the property on 30 April 2026. However, at approximately 12 noon on the same day, they attempted to impose an extension of the lease without consent. This was expressly rejected. Despite this, they continued occupying the home ********ly and remain in occupation without paying rent or complying with their obligations. Not even a cent towards the outstanding arrears has been paid since then. This property is my mother’s primary source of income and financial support. Instead of acting honourably, we have been subjected to ************, misleading conduct, financial prejudice, and what feels like outright bullying. We strongly urge landlords and service providers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with Kratos Retail Group PTY LTD, Grant De Klerk, and Pamela Cookson. To date, substantial rental arrears remain unpaid while the property continues to be occupied ********ly.
