Vet only in it dor the money

Our family dog got sick last week, he wouldnt eat. Took him to Kragga Kamma vet. Dr. Spencer phoned me saying ot might be an ulcer and it eould cost around R2500 to treat him. Not knowing where I would find R2500 I said its fine I mean uts ohr family dog. Went to fetch him only to find the bill is now R3600. Long story short he was still ill so took him back, Dr. Spencer phoned again saying that she did ultra sound which there would be no charge and I can fetch him. Got there and had to fork out another R1200. In total i have paid almost R5000 and our dog is still not healed
