Unflawful Accusations, Fines, Slander, Suspensions

In August the Kouga Municipality accused me of *****ing electricity from my holiday home. Their reason: not enough power was bought for the prepaid meter, and it was done on an irregular basis. I tried to explain to them that I was working in Lesotho and that I only get to my holiday dwelling 3 times a year.<br> They did not accept my explanation and immediately cut my power off, even though a lawyer's letter was written to them to state that my account is fully paid up and by law they are not allowed to cut my power until the issue has been resolved. They forced me to pay a fine of nearly R4 000, kept my power off for 5 days. I lost all my consumables in my fridge and freezer, R3 500 worth. Legal fees: R4 000, my travel cost R9 500, my loss of income to sort issues out R10 000, loss of rent R4 000. <br> They forced me to move my prepaid meter. Electrician costs another R1 000. The fact of the matter is that I bought the house 1 year ago, obtained my wiring certificate to state that all is in accordance with the specifications. <br> I've been called a *****, in writing, without proof. Exorbidant costs (R36 000) have been incurred to resolve the issue. All efforts just ignored and laughed at!
