Company takes payments without delivering service, and then refuses to refund.

At first the company seemed reputable, but after they ran off with money pre-paid for completion of services, it is highly recommended to avoid.

In December 2023, Payments were pre-paid for a few odd things to be finished on my electricity grid as they promised to finish before 16 December. The owner thereafter made several promises to deleiver but was always met with excuses of breakdowns or next dates, When the months rolled by and requests were made for refunds, the owner initially responded with promises of refunds, but then ultimately ignored final demands, the magistrate court as well as lawyer's requests for refunds. Note that all parties reviewed my evidence in order to send out letter of demands.

In another response the owner suddenly requested a COC to ensure the safety of himself and his workers to work on the electricity..this inspite of all work to get to COC in the first place, and this was not a requirement when he worked on things the first time.. An electrician who does not know how to get an electricity network to COC conpliancy and do not how to switch off Eskom power in order to work on standard home electricity installations is the next red flag. ...instead trying to now gaslight everyone to think that he feels unsafe to work on a standard home/solar conversion. This should invoke an investgation on his skills or his licence to practise.

His empty promises to finish the work, and thereafter refusal to refund me for services not rendered makes this a company to vehemently avoid. If you want to save yourself from thievery and much expenses to try and keep them responsible, which in the end just becomes a long-winded process that leaves a bitter taste and prompts one to never provide work to others again, then avoid this copany.
