Kota Joe steel in Kota Dagwood

Good day To whom it may concern.

On Monday the 17th of August 2020 My daughter and I went to Kota Joe at Wonderboom Pretoria. I bought a Kota Joe Dagwood. As I was busy eating maybe by my third bite I felt a strange sharp object in my throat. As I tried to swallow it did not want to move and caught deeper in my throat. This was terribly sore and I had to use my fingers to squeeze down my throat and luckily I eventually got a grip on it and pulled it out. It was a long sharp steel shaving like object. On contacting Kota Joe Head office I spoke to Lindsey...who happily offered me a ridiculous R100 voucher without any arguments. As I queried this she said I can be happy that I receive a voucher for the simple reason that they're going on my word "and DID NOT ask for a proof of purchase"... Witch I still have. Basically what they're trying to say is that I'm lying. Well unfortunately for them I still have the object that is almost 10cm long. If that could have happened to be a child the outcome would may have been much worse. It was an extremely horrific experience for at that moment I could not breathe nor remove the object any quicker. I would like to share this with everyone and just say make sure you get what you order and not some sort of cutlery or metal objects extra. And the damn audacity of Kota Joe with their reply from Head Office is absurd. I believe anyone else would take this further. Kind Regards Klara.
