Spreading awareness!!!!
!!! WARNING!!! ATTENTION!!! SPREADING AWARENESS!!!
Aside from the beauty of nature, our experiences were one to never be forgotten, but not in a good way. Our visit at The Bushcamp was just an opportunity for a 49 year old married man ( Charl ) with two beautiful children to ***ualy harass me ( an 18 year old girl. ) Thusrday, on the 27th of June, we arrived safely on the premises, friendly welcomed and unpacked. This man kept a distance until the 28th of June. He attempted to wrap his arms around my body to " help " me off the bakkie we were driving with back to the lodge. After I said no, he just continued picking me up. He left, and I started doing my own thing. He came back and sat down where I was busy cleaning up for our guest to arrive. He kept on complementing me and staring at certain body parts. Uncomfortable me, I tried avoiding conversations with this man, but he kept on trying, so I gave him short answers to avoid the title of being disrespectful. At night, my family would sit around a fire, and he would stare at me, he would make inappropriate comments about/to me. I have never felt this violated and uncomfortable at any other place in my life. This man is a horrible human being and I hope from my perspective others will also come out, if there was a similar experience, it's hard for me to believe that I am the only person this has happened to.
To add, this isn't even the full story.
