Konics Tires (Bethal) - Sells out of Warranty tires as brand new tires to their clients.

Konics tyres sold me 6year old tyres - for brand new tyers prize. I trusted them and didn't know I should look at the age of the tire (that is written on the side of the tire with some coding) when i install brand new tires. Furthermore, I read up and my insurance won't cover me if I have tires older than 5years on your vehicle. I did q inquiry with Yokohama South Africa and they only provide a manufacturing warranty for 5 years due to the deterioration of the tire after this time. In essence, Konics sold me out of warranty tires.

My "brand new" tires are warned out after only 15000km. When I approached Konics their reply after 2.5 weeks of back and forward is that they can't do anything for me i should have look on the tire before accpeting the old tires.

I find this totally unreasonable. If you do business with someone you trust them in their field of expertise. You also trust that if a mistake like this is made that they would put their hand up and help their clients. Obvisuly this is not the case with Konics Tires. Im utterly desiponted.
