My Service Experience with Approved Panel Beaters

I have been insured with Auto and General since the 1980s and have always regarded the company as operating at a very high international standard. My most recent accident claim, dated 18 November 2025, was referred to Kondylis Motors in Paarden Eiland. Kondylis Motors has a well structured workflow process in place, and their workmanship appears competent. However, based on my personal experience, the overall service level was comparable to that of an average registered panel beater. In my view, when a vehicle is ready for collection, I would expect it to be returned in showroom condition. In my case, I had to point out missing trimmings, and on inspection there was visible polishing residue between the seams, which was disappointing. These are details that I believe should be identified and corrected during the final quality control process, without the client needing to raise them. By comparison, a previous claim was referred to Auto Magic in Parow. Their level of professionalism stood out significantly. The high standard of their workmanship was matched by excellent customer service, clear communication, and a strong focus on the overall client experience. I felt it important to provide this feedback, as consistent service excellence across approved service providers plays an important role in maintaining the high standards I have come to associate with Auto and General.
