Unprofessional, *********** & A Ripoff

I sent my car in for a service with Kohler Motors in Maitland as I have done the year prior and everything seems to be going smoothly without problems. Brought my car in and spoke to the lady a who did the checks in which we went around the car to do the usual checks. I did then mention that I have insurance with motor rite and did not ask me my insurance number which is part of her job. Also she called my continuously when I asked her for a quote on my brakes which I said to her my insurance won't cover and I will out of my own pocket.

Once the service was done they delivered my car to my house which was around a R3500 (Approximate) bill in which case I said to the gentleman who had delivered my car why did she not put this through to my insurance which "I can said is she feeling ok". I then called her and I told her to put it through to my insurance, in which she got stroppy and rude to me over the phone. If you are wrong why are you rude to a client even though she did not do her job properly and was unprofessional.

She then put it through to the insurance incorrectly which they then wanted me to pay R1900 approximately which I then spoke to the owner and said to him that I don't really pay for a service because my insurance usually cover everything and I would only pay for the brakes.

He then agreed that this R1900 (Appprox) is incorrect and would then resubmit to insurance. After that conversation I got a call from my insurance in which they confirmed that they submitted an incorrect invoice and that they resubmitted it, which will be paid out in full, I will just have to cover the payment for the brakes which I did.

When all this drama was said and done I went to collect my car to find that the passenger side top clip was missing which they claimed was missing. In which case that would have been written down on the report that I initially sign when dropping off the car. The price of the part was R800 for my Mini Cooper which they agreed to go 50/50 on with me. So I said to them, you people worked on y car, the part went missing while you were working on my car why must I pay for it. You people were negligent, unprofessional and *********** and even more so have inconvenienced the client with your weak work ethic.

Once this conversation was had around the 50/50 payment for the part I just left the entire mess of a situation and just never went back.

I will no longer be using Kohler motors be in Maitland or elsewhere, because they employ people that don't know how to do their jobs properly and are rude to clients.

Never Again with these people.
