Koa Academy - Best decision ever made in 2026
While 2026 has been a year of ups and downs for us, enrolling our daughter in Grade 4 at Koa Academy has been our absolute best decision. Since leaving her traditional private school, she is noticeably happier learning remotely. She loves logging on for school, easily makes new friends, and enjoys helping her peers. With South Africa’s rising crime rates right now, choosing online schooling has provided incredible relief for our family. As a dad, I have total peace of mind knowing my daughter is safe at home, and I love being able to stay connected to her daily progress and schoolwork.

Koa Academy - Best decision ever made in 2026

Best decision we have made.
During 2026, the local schools were unable to provide us with a place for our 14-year-old. Eventually, we abandoned all attempts and began to search for alternatives. we chose Koa Academy. Alu has gained confidence. His classes are small and focused. The Dashboard helps us monitor his progress. One class only has four pupils!. He gets all the help that he needs. His approach to life is changing dramatically. His confidence is growing. His vocabulary has improved, as have his computer skills.

Best decision we have made.
During 2026, the local schools were unable to provide us with a place for our 14-year-old. Eventually, we abandoned all attempts and began to search for alternatives. we chose Koa Academy. We are almost at the halfway and enjoying online schooling
We are almost at the halfway mark with Ayanda (my 15-year-old daughter) attending online school through Koa Academy. As we had never tried online schooling before, I was prepared for whatever may come. It has been pleasantly easy to adjust and Ayanda's grades made it all the better. She aced them, except for Business Studies, which we are working on raising the bar, and she is now more positive towards her prospects for varsity in two years' time. Thanks Koa Academy.

We are almost at the halfway and enjoying online schooling
We are almost at the halfway mark with Ayanda (my 15-year-old daughter) attending online school through Koa Academy. As we had never tried online schooling before, I was prepared for whatever may come. It has been pleasantly easy to adjust and Ayanda's grades made it all the better. She aced them, except for Business Studies, which we are working on raising the bar, and she is now more positive towards her prospects for varsity in two years' time. Thanks Koa Academy.

KOA WAS OUR LIFESAVER
They deserve more than 5 stars. My child has never been happier and more calmer with school and the work they have. KOA was a lifesaver for my daughter in a time when she just was not coping emotionally going from a small school to a HUGE high school environment. She is so diligent, loves what she is learning and has learnt how to manage her time effectively. If you are a parent with a child that just "hates" school, investigate why. Its not always that the child is just full of nonsense or lazy, sometimes its an underlying reason. And if you are looking for another option, KOA is your answer. You wont be sorry. Now don't think because its online your child wont get out or meet other kids. The social side is great and they do school outings and have social gatherings every term. And you would be surprised by how many kids near you belong to KOA! So go investigate. And i am sure that you wont be disappointed.

When we joined the Koa family in January 2026, we hoped we were making the right decision for our daughter. Just a few months later, we know without a doubt that we were. What began as a leap of faith has become one of the best choices we have ever made as parents. Our daughter is a Grade 4A learner, and the joy she has found in her schooling journey with Koa Academy has truly moved us. So much so, that even as our family prepares to relocate to another country, she has made one thing absolutely clear, she is staying with Koa Academy.
