K&O Glass & Aluminium

<p>I've recently began renovating my home and due to the enclosure of my patio I needed to have stackable doors manufactured. This is where I had the misfortune of dealing with a company called K&amp;O Glass &amp; aluminium (Durbanville, Cape Town), a business own by Ockert Alberts &amp; Karin Alberts.</p> <p>Ockert Alberts gave me a competitive quote and on acceptance I needed to pay a 70% deposit before the doors would be fabricated. My deposit was paid to Karin Roberts on the 16 April and I was instructed by Ockert Alberts from K&amp;O glass and aluminium that it should take about 2 weeks until the doors would be built and fitted.</p> <p>That's when one excuse came after the other, firstly Ockert Alberts said he was very busy, then suddenly he was in hospital for a week, he then promised me on a Friday that by the Monday the doors would be delivered and fitted, 8 weeks after my deposit was paid. Ockert Alberts was nowhere to be found on that promised Monday 13 June. Then I was told his vehicle was not running and when my builder offered to fetch the doors in his own vehicle Ockert Alberts turned this help down, guaranteeing me he would be there in the afternoon after his car was repaired - after this, Ockert Alberts the ***** &amp; *********, realised his lies had caught up with him, and neither him or wife, Karin Alberts would answer anymore calls from myself or the builder.</p> <p>I am now left with no choice but to lay ******** charges against him but felt it was necessary to post this to warn others not to be ****med by Ockert Alberts &amp; Karin Alberts from the fly by night business: K&amp;O glass and aluminium. I'm probably not the first person they have ******** money from but hopefully with with this post I'll be the last!</p>
