Knysna Municipality is inadequate to say the least.

If I could give 0 stars I would!

For the last 3 years I have been unfairly charged for municipal rates and taxes and of course interest. In 2024 it took 11 months for someone to get back to me regarding my account. In 2025 the same thing happened as in 2024.

Currently I have written 6 emails over the last 6 months querying my account once again. Every month I pay my account on time and in full and every month my account shows an arrears amount and interest is added to that account.

I have had it to say the very least! This is a terrible situation to be in and totally unacceptable and unfair. The Knysna Municipality is clearly being run by inadequate people who are not up for the challenge or task it takes to successfully look after its residents.
