Con Artists Targeting Special Schools

THIS IS A ****!!!!!! Our school was approached by this company with regards to an Inclusive Schools in Action Symposium Workshop that would have taken place in September this year. We are a special school for learners with intellectual needs. They posed as an events company that would be hosting this workshop in assistance with the Department of Education, however cancelled the very day before the workshop was to take place. On further investigation, we discovered that the venue that they would have used was NEVER even booked for this workshop and the gentleman who assisted me with this knowledge went on to say that three people had approached them regarding the venue and was also never to be heard of again. Their contact details do not exist and since our school have already paid for three educators to attend this workshop, we have never received a refund again. They are such con artists and need to be exposed!!!!!
