Unfriendly, unhelpful, unfulfilling promises

Was seated outside in the cold. Lady was about to leave her warm and cosy seat inside, so I asked the manager, yes the manager, if he could keep the table for us after the lady had left and he promised he would. 5 minutes later the table is occupied by a single man, bare in mind we are a couple. I then question the manager and he says he can't help us because he doesn't want to lose a customer. Little does he realise, he is losing 2 customers and having a bad report written.
