Beware of ****** purporting to be plumbers, electricians etc : KMA

We called out a plumber to fix out burst tap last week . We found their details on the web purporting to be Greenside Plumbers(http://www.plumber-plumbers.co.za) but they are listed under every suburb you can think of and are just a call centre with two girls working the phones ( Klara and Michelle de Beer) They wanted payment upfront for a burst geyser.We paid them R14, 346 but the geyser was not burst and the very nice plumber whom they used called Frikkie replaced the broken tap and stop **** and high pressure valve .For this we were charged R4,785 plus VAT !!!!!As the geyser did not need replacing ( it was new) we requested a refund on the balance which is R7,800 plus VAT. Monique was very evasive and told us quite a few untruths and her story was very inconsistent but to this day we still have not received our refund. She is very aggressive and it is clear from her interactions with us that she is used to dealing with unhappy customers.there are quite a few public complaints about her on the web. She now tells us that she will have to wait for her accountant to come in as she can't do the repayment and she doesn't know when she will come in and if and when she does it will take 48 hours. I simply do not believe her and i think the whole operation is very ***** as they are passing themselves off a suburb experts........Google Sandton plumbers or Randburg plumbers or Craighall Park plumbers or North Riding Electricians and you will see what I mean. They are trading as KMA and their CK number is ***. She says they have been in business for many years but I honestly don't know how ! I hope that this will serve as a warning to others
