KLS Aluminium - Got ****med out of R 30 000 deposit. Who will he claim next?

Please stay as far a way from this ********** business practice. Llewellyn Scott ***ner) and smooth talker ****med us from R 30 000 deposit. Its been months and no word from him or any attempt from his side.

This all started as his quote did not stipulate what we wanted and we were unsure of what the end result would look like. He then promised it would look "stunning" and we wont be disappointed. He then asked for a deposit which we paid. Weeks went by and nothing. Just excuses of him not being able to come through and start the job. Then all of a sudden he promised he would be there the next day but need another deposit. Needless to say he pitched with the wrong color material as we discussed. After not pitching up for the agreed date thereafter and we needed to constantly phone and follow up after this guy we decided not to continue with the rest of his quote any further and feed him anymore money.

Very apologetic he eventually installed 1 window frame and 1 door that was part of one of his quotes as we demanded to see the remaining money outstanding to be reflected by the materials bought for part of the quote and deposits paid. Needles to say that his quality and workmanship was so bad that I had to remove it after a few weeks and get another supplier. So basically this guy made us pay for 1 x small window and a 6 panel door with holes in it and the wrong glass shade. Basically 2 out of the 6 glass panels are different colors. The other supplier also stipulated that this guy doesn't use safety regulated glass when they checked his work.

This guy even has the audacity of saying he went the extra mile and that he already bought the materials. Yet when I asked to provide this what we have paid for, he just said it doesn't work that way. He never provided the outstanding paid materials or refunded the outstanding deposit money of materials/work not provided.

What is the cherry on top of the cake is this guy blames us for saying there was a lot of back and forth and changes made and basically says it needs to be deducted from the deposit. He wants to deduct cost for something that never arrived at our premises and he cant provide any proof of a purchase. He says his heart is at peace and he sleeps soundly at night. I guess he would with R 30 000 for doing basically nothing with no remorse for others suffering.

Its been months and this guy has made no attempt on his behalf. Currently I am with attorneys dealing with this to lay charges against him. I am tired of this types of business practices like him conning people out of their money. Stay away from this guy. If only Hello Peter had an attachment section I would have provided pictures of his bad work.
