After sales service

I reported the breakdown of my Whirlpool Top loader washing machine under guarantee on 12 March 2018. The technician was unable to repair the machine . To date the machine is still out of order . Under the circumstances it appears that my consumer rights are irrelevant. I also reported the matter to the store manager, apparently to no avail. Easiest option would have been to replace the machine under guarantee. I am totally mortified with this poor service.
