Kloppers NEXX Charger 2.0 unboxing experience

Bad unboxing experience of NEXX Charger 2.0 RC crawler. This morning my 3 year old opened his gift to be disappointed. The cars lower control arm was off and the car kept riding in a circle. At closer inspection we discovered there were missing *****s and that the vehicle had been used with visible scratches on the body work. In addition the vehicle is claimed to be a 4x4 and only one set of wheels were working. I did not purchase a display model or refurbished product to my knowledge. Kloppers closed until Monday. How do you explain this to a 3 year old.
