Dishonest or clueless. Unacceptable

I took a stray to Kloof Road Vet on the 15 Dec 2015 to be scanned for a microchip. <br> There was none so I offered to provide my details and keep him until claimed or adopt should he not be claimed. Vet told me they need to keep him for 7 days but will keep in touch. She also said that we should phone on a daily basis. We provided our details and left and kept in touch.<br> After keeping the dog for almost 20 days, they informed me he was going to the SPCA.<br> I went to SPCA in the morning to to do the paperwork and left for work. LAter that morning SPCA called me and said the dog did not arrive. I called vet and they said he did leave in the morning to the SPCA. <br> After work, I went through to vet and was told the dog went to the SPCA, I told them the issue and they were sure he went and had no other information. I even checked the SPCA kennels. On escalation to SPCA, the official was told he was picked up by owners 2 days earlier. Yet they had no record?? Even insisted he went to SPCA, then had no idea where he was.<br> Frankly the staff at this vet are either clueless or very *********. Would never trust them with any animal again
