This locksmith "business" advertises a call-out fee of R175 as opposed to others of R650. What a begain, right? Do not be deceived!!! A bunch of daylight ******s. I requested a quote but I was just advised of a call out fee. The locksmith, arrived in a private vehicle 30 mins after I was advised he would be here. He had to open a very basic cupboard lock which took him all of 10 mins, if that. Then he says he has to go calculate the costs. I ask but what major costs? You were not even busy for 5 mins? He comes back to say labour, call-out and "opening" fee would amount to R1600!!! I said that's totally rediculous. Why did he not give me the quote to refuse. He then explained the fee is determined by the work he does i.e. fiddle in a basic lock with a tool like a *****driver and opening up within 10 mins. the invoice he sent me electronically was so basic "Mobile Locksmith Service", no details of bank, contact, etc. insisted on cash or instant cash via bank app. My son phoned him to find out why they operate so deviously and he then has the audacity to say he is not making anything. When my son asked who is getting the money he alleged "KLOCK" - apparently just a call centre. The story goes on but I just want to warn everybody. Be aware of Mr Henning glorified locksmith in an old green VW Golf. Their website can longer be found on Google.
