No guarantee that your booking will be honoured.

We booked and paid for a unit for this Christmas weekend six weeks ago. We booked the weekend based on a December special that they advertised on Facebook, they even contacted me to confirm sleeping arrangements (if we needed double beds or single beds). Last week they phoned me, saying that they made a mistake, that the weekend is not available anymore. They gave NO explanation. This is ONE week before Christmas. Really? They think that this is acceptable. We had to cancel our arrangements with our family, and the kids are devastated. It's appalling. So please, if you ever make a booking with them, do not for one minute think that you're staying is guaranteed. They'll cancel at any moment, even if it's only days before. PS. We heard through the g****vine that the owner's friends wanted a spot, so we got bumped. (I cannot confirm that this is indeed the case, but it sounds about right)
