DO NOT BOOK THIS B&B - AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE OWNERS

We booked Kliphuisjes in Dec for 3 nights and left after only one night as there was no electricity and no hot water and no likelihood of it returning during our stay. The owners laughed at us, made comments such as 'Well if you're not intelligent enough to open a lock how will you be intelligent enough to use a generator', verbally abused and became aggressive with myself and my 65 year old mom. Owner's were 300km away and not interested in providing a solution to the issue (e.g. alternative accommodation) - the house was unlivable and noone could be expected to stay 3 days and 2 nights without electricity and hot water. They refused to give us a refund for the two nights so we could go elsewhere and said 'We don't do refunds rebook another time' pretty difficult when we live in the UK isn't it? We left Dullstroom with our holiday ruined. There is noone on site to assist if things go wrong and they do not care - as soon as they have your money you are nothing to them. They shouted at us down the phone continuously for an issue that was their problem - shocking customer service is and the fact that they treated us, their customers, in such a disgusting manner says a lot about them.
