an unpleasant ending of a beautiful wedding

For the weddingof my daughter Marie Scheffer to Tobias Vollet on Februry 16, 2016 at Kleinevalleij Estate in Wellington we wanted to have an open bar for the guests. In order to do so, we were required to pay a deposit which ensured that the venue would have enough drinks stocked. The deposit also included corkage for wine which we were bringing onto the estate.

Two days after the wedding, Annelize van der Merwe (Venue Manager) got in touch with me to let me know that we had not reached close to the bar tab and also not all wine bottles were opened leading to the following breakdown:

You brought in 108 bottles of wines plus 24 bottles for the tasting.

You paid corkage on 102 bottles of wine (30 thus not paid for)

69 bottles of wine was returned- 30 not paid corkage for, therefore 39 x R30 corkage to be refunded = R1 170-00.

Your bar tab only reached R6 041 of the R15 000 - R8 959 to be refunded.

Can you please send me your bank details so that Handre can refund you directly: R10 129-00.

I will forward your bank details to our owner, who will re-imburse you within 10 days from your wedding.

I sent my banking details through to Annelize at Kleinevalleij on 18.02.2016 (wedding was on 16.02.2016) and since then I have sent through numerous emails (5 in total) to Annelize and the Owner of Kleinevalleij (Handré) and up until this day I have not received my money back.
