<div>Before making a decision on a contractor to move our furniture from Pretoria to Cape Town, we looked at the reviews on hellopeter and saw excellent reviews for Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer. At the beginning of the process and until we had paid the full amount, Elize was was extremely helpful. We believed the move would go smoothly. The nightmare started when our furniture was collected three days late and by another contractor. Our furniture was taken to a warehouse - we were not informed. Then the promises started about arrival date. Each time Elize led us to believe the furniture would arrive in Cape Town when it hadn't even left the warehouse in Gauteng. This continued for three weeks until a friend of ours stepped in, arranged and paid for another contractor to bring our furniture to Cape Town. At that stage we were sleeping on the floor of our new apartment. Communication between ourselves and Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer who had not kept to the contract, became very difficult. We have been trying to get the money back from Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer since then. On 12 May, Elize confirmed, in writing that the money owed to us would be paid - it was not. She again informed my wife that half of the money would be paid back on 19 May - once again it was not. The operators of Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer are ****s, make promises and are *******. Do not entrust any business to them.</div>
