Foreign Klein Constantia Wine Farm experience

Our waiter, Josh, was excellent, professional, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The whole experience though, from the entrance to the building, to the tasting itself, lacked serious South African warmth and hospitality! It felt very cold and European, in complete contrast to the surrounding farms. There is a Bistro that one can book at but not a single option of a cheese platter or any other form of food whilst wine tasting. The wine went straight to my head with nothing to balance it out. South Africans are known for their food and feeding people. No use telling me the wine pairs well with cheese if I can't experience it. For that reason we bought nothing, even though we each had our wine preferences and canceled our Bistro reservation in order to find a real South African one elsewhere. Such good advertising on the sleeves of world renowned cyclists but definitely not a world renowned tasting experience.
