Poor hunting & service at Klein Bolayi Game lodge

Our hunt at this facility was pathetic.<br> <br> Saturday 23/05/2015 we went out and one of the guides got lost in the veld with one of our guys and took them 3 hours to reach the lodge.<br> I shot an eland.After loading I asked the guide, if we can take the eland to be skinned, he told me that there was not enough diesel in the vehicle, this after you pay a day fee of R450.00 p/day per hunter. Ridiculous!!! <br> We waited till 18:45 with the eland and an impala still on the back of the vehicle. <br> On the way back we had 2 flat tyres.<br> Eventually we reached the lodge.<br> The next morning we left to collect our meat, upon our arrival we found that the eland wasn't even rinsed with water and was covered with stomach fluids, grass and a lot of blood, the eland was shot just behind the front leg, far away from the stomach! <br> The PH now says it's because of the bad shot, anyone that says that's a bad shot doesn't have an idea what he is talking about!We also found four broken ribs about 40cm away from the bullet wound, on asking them what happened to the ribs the told me it was when they offloaded the eland from the bakkie????<br> All of the meat is uneatable.<br> The PH has a bad attitude.
