Expensive damage: Do not let this company's team anywhere near nice carpets!

Their (pricey) cleaning of our carpets actually made them dirtier. Much dirtier. It's quite weird. I don't even know how this is possible. They look like they're stained brown now.

We first got KleenUp in earlier this month (December 2024), to clean our pale grey persian carpets, here in Flamingo vlei. They took them outside on our driveway, scrubbed them with their machines, and then left them outside to dry. Once they were dry that afternoon, we say the big brown stains all over the carpets.

We contacted Kleen Up again and pushed them to come and fix the mess. A few days later they did (to their credit) come and have another go. The stains are still there though. It actually looks like they permanently damaged them. Now we have to try work out the cost of this damage.

So pls be warned. Be VERY careful before letting Kleen Up anywhere near valuable items. They might not ALWAYS cause this sort of damage, but ask yourself if the risk is worth it?
