Kiwi.com is a no-show. Cheap prices for even cheaper service delivery.

I planned a two-week long vacation through Italy and France for August 2019. I booked two one-way flight tickets out of Europe (from Paris to Seoul) around early February for August 23. I received the flight tickets within 24 hours at competitive pricing. My tickes into Europe (from Seoul to Venice) were booked via another online site who had more seats available at the time of booking. I caught those flights into Europe without any issues. Upon nearing my date of departure Kiwi.com sent mutliple emails to me confirming the details of my up and coming flight. As I was already traveling through Europe in the countryside sometimes WiFi or internet access was scarce. Six (6) days prior to my departing flights (from Paris to Seoul) Kiwi.com sent me an email stating that my flights had been cancelled and provided me an alternative flight that needed to be paid for and booked all within 24-hours or my flight refund would be void. I did not have any internet connection during this time and missed the email. I arrived at the airport on the morning of August 23 and was unable to find my flight number on the departure screens. I rushed to the Front Desk of Aigle Azur, the airline I was supposed to fly with, and was calmly told that their flights to the East had been ceased 6 months ago (around February). In total disbelief, I called Kiwi.com who were unapologetic and provided me with no assistance in securing a flight out of Paris as I had missed the "24-hour timeframe". This is appalling as I paid over 1 500 euros for my flight and my refund was all dependent upon a 24-hour response time. Furthermore, the alternative flight suggested by Kiwi.com included me departing from Paris one day early with an approximately 11-hour layover in China. No refund would be provided to me for my hotel booking that would have had to be cancelled one day early. The man I spoke to, Andrew (if I recall correctly) had no support to provide me and refused to forward my call to his Superior. I had to pay over 1 200 euros at the Airport Travel Agents desk and was booked on a flight around midnight with a different airline at a different aiport in Paris. My recommendation to travelers is to steer cleer of Kiwi.com. They only provide information when it is too late and have no support desk, despite being available 24/7. I fail to understand why I was only notified 6 days prior to the flight of the cancellation when the Airline (Aigle Azur) had stopped the service 6 months ago.
