DISGUSTING, PATHETIC SERVICE

I spoke to Ravin Maharaj, a director, in October 2019 and he guaranteed me my kitchen will be completed before they close for the holidays. Hamesh from the Fourways branch confirmed on 2 November that the kitchen would be completed in 2019. The carcasses were delivered on 12 December and the kitchen was to be completed by the following week. I asked Hamesh why the doors looked mismatched and he said that it was the grain of the wood without actually inspecting the kitchen.

I asked another company to quote me for bedroom cupboards and she said the kitchen company did not do a good job with your cupboards as the shades and grains for the cupboards do not blend and match. There is no flow. My family has used Kitchen Studio for a decade now and this is the first time that the service is shocking. This is shocking service from a professional company. Mark Pillay inspected the kitchen on Tuesday 14 January 2020 and said he needs to query some issues with the workshop and I have still NOT received any feedback. I guess I have to continuously call and enquire what is happening, when will it be completed etc.

A MONTH later and still no kitchen! PATHETIC SERVICE

Please do not use Kitchen Studio and encounter empty promises, no concept of delivery dates and shoddy service!

Dear Natasha Moodey We installed your kitchen and granite tops during our last working week of December i.e. from the 12th to the 18th December. We were aware that there were still 2 oak veneer doors outstanding and that some snags still had to be attended to. Since your home was still a long way off from being complete we thought that we would install the 2 doors and attend to the snags after we reopen on 13th January 2020. I visited your site the very next day after we reopened ( Tuesday 14th January ) to inspect the installation and discuss your concern with regards to the grain and shade variation on your doors which you had raised with me a few days before our meeting. I immediately, at that site meeting last Tuesday, removed 3 sample doors from your kitchen and sent them back to our factory to get our suppliers of the boards to inspect the doors. After inspecting the door samples that we had sent to the suppliers, they were of the view that natural veneers will vary in grain & colour and that we should have communicated this to you. We did point out to the supplier that this information forms part of the terms of our sale. They have however, in the spirit of good customer relations, agreed to replace the new oak veneered boards on MDF required to replace the doors and drawer faces. This process will take in the region of 2 weeks to manufacture. Installation will take not more than 2 days thereafter. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Kind regards, Mark
