Kistenhof bakkie hire western cape

I was never told anything except the cost of the hiring of the bakkie per day and because I was travelling far it was an extra R400. A few days before collecting the vehicle I was told of a deposit that i was promised I would get back if the car was in the same condition, the day I went to collect the vehicle I asked is there any more hidden things I should know, and was told it's just a standard contract to say that if there are fines I must pay it.. after I finished with the vehicle they deducted over R1000 from my account with no warning and when I queried it I was told we have to pay R2 per Km as well and we not getting our deposit back. Unfortunately it was on the contract that I was told not to bother reading, so they conveniently neglected to tell me about all costs involved even after I asked multiple times!!! My error for not reading the contract, and trusting them. As a business when you do an enquiry it is only right to tell the prospective client of ALL costs involved. Not on the day or after the day you collect a vehicle. I am disgusted at how they run their business, not only was the bakkie filthy when we got it but the radio wasnt working and we couldn't charge our phones after I specifically asked does the vehicle have a usb to charge our phones and was told yes. As we were driving over 2000kms. So they knew our trip was approx 4000kms from the beginning and conveniently **** to us!!
