Shocking customer service

I recently bought some Hush Puppy school shoes from Kingsmead Shoes and paid R700, which you would think means they are a 'quality buy'. Well, I was mistaken! After 4 months the souls have completely worn away to holes and are unwearable.

I took them back to the store and requested a replacement, which I was denied and told that it was us who were at fault & hadn't looked after the shoes. How on earth can Shoes been worn down to holes from walking around a High School campus? I then requested to speak to Head Office and they too held their line saying that the error was ours and they will not be replacing or refunding.

I am so disappointed I Kingsmead Shoes customer service & even more frustrated that a 'good'brand like Hush Puppies can't be re**** upon. I certainly will not be purchasing any more shoes from this store & urge ithets to think twice before they purchase shoes - especially when you receive no help!
