Pierre Cardin Shoe damaged after only 1 week

I contacted Kingsmead shoes, while on holiday abroad to state I purchased a pair of pierre cardin boots the previous week and it had begin to tear. I contacted them twice. On both occasions, the company did not even bother to get back to me, stating what the process would be to rectify. The website states that they have a strict 14 day return policy, but I was out of the country at the time and therefore wrote to them. It is now almost a month later and they have not bothered with a response.
