Manufacturing Defect and Bad Customer Service

I purchased a pair of Footglove sandals from Kingsmead Walmer Park at the end of 2023. In March 2024 I heard a squishy sound every time I walked with the sandals. I inspected the shoes and saw the heel had separated from the shoe. I returned the shoes to the store in April to which they were replaced. I wore the new pair for the month until it got too cold to wear open shoes. I again wore them from September 2024. In October I again heard the squishy sound and inspected the shoes. The exact same problem happened to these shoes as per my previous ones. I took the shoes back to Kingsmead Walmer Park and I was told that they could not help me as it was out of the 6 months return policy. I feel totally cheated as I could not wear open sandals over the winter months, yet the 6 month return policy stands irrespective of the products seasonality. I feel that this is a manufacturing defect as it has happened to both pair of identical shoes. I expected the Footglove Brand to be of good quality, yet both Kingsmead Shoes and Footglove Brand have disappointed me. I contacted Kingsmead Shoes on 3 occasions via the online portal, but I have not had any response. I can not find any alternative customer support contact details to communicate with them. I am out of pocket of R500 for the shoes and anything additional to have them fixed. I will definitely not support any Store nor Brand that does not aim for Quality Products and Customer Service.
